SPECIAL COLLECTION: PORTO CHARITIES October 9/10
Bishop Burbidge has enthusiastically endorsed Porto Charities “Special Kids, Special Needs Collection” on behalf of intellectually and developmentally challenged youth within the diocese. Bishop Burbidge stated, “This organization provides financial resources which are used to support special education programs which exemplify the compassion and love of the Catholic Church.”
Next Sunday there will be a second collection to assist these special need programs. The Bishop has sanctioned this collection as a blessing for God’s Special Children, and further stated, “his hope and desire for this program implementation at even more Catholic schools
