Currently we have two main types of accompanists at our Masses: organ and piano. Our accompanists must be able to read music and sight read at an intermediate – advanced level. Their main purpose is to accompany the choir and cantors in the hymns and other sung parts of the Masses.

There are a variety of opportunities to play an instrument at our parish. Instruments may range from guitar, bass, string, wind, brass, rhythm, etc. Instrumentalists must be able to read music and follow instructions in a choir setting. Opportunities to play could vary from playing solo preludes/postludes, to joining an ensemble for Christmas or Easter Vigil Masses.
