Join us as we pray a Novena to St. Joseph at the beginning of Mass

Prayer cards available in the Narthex.

St. Joseph – Foster Father of Jesus Christ & Spouse of the Virgin Mary

Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin Mary and foster father of Jesus Christ,
obtain for me and all the members of my family a pure, humble and charitable mind and perfect
resignation to the Divine Will.

Be my guide and model throughout life that I may merit to die as you did in the arms of
Jesus and Mary.

Help us Saint Joseph in our earthly strife to fulfill all our responsibilities and ever to lead
a pure and sinless life.  Amen

Novena: March 11th – March 19th
Patron Saint: Universal Church, unborn children, fathers, families, workers, travelers,
immigrants, craftsmen, and a happy death.

Solemn Vespers
March 19th

Did you know?

The Second Vatican Council encourages all parishes to celebrate Solemn Vespers on Sundays and Solemnities?

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton will have a solemn, sung vespers service with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament immediately
following on March 19th from 7:00pm—8:00pm.

This is the Solemnity of St. Joseph and in this year of St. Joseph, this is an ideal way for the entire family to come honor
and ask the intercession of the head of the Holy Family!  (This will replace Stations of the Cross.)

Lenten Giving Mercy Trees
Feb 17- Mar 31

To Benefit the Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinics

This year’s Lenten Giving Tag Tree fundraising program will benefit the Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinics in Woodbridge and Manassas. These Diocesan clinics serve uninsured or underinsured individuals, 18 and older, who are residents of Prince William County. Services include comprehensive primary care, cardiology, orthopedics, physical therapy, chiropractic, dietetics and prenatal care.

Your donation will be used to purchase critically needed medical equipment and supplies ranging in price from just over $3.00 for a box of bandages to almost $3,700.00 for a fetal monitor.

Participation is easy. Simply take a white envelope from one of the “thermometer trees” in the Narthex and replace it with one of the tags from the basket. Read the paper inside the envelope and follow the instructions for giving.

Youth Ministry Lenten Fundraiser

The Annual Youth Ministry Alms Board is up – In the Narthex and Online!

Where your money goes.  The first place your investment in YM goes is toward maintaining and expanding regular ministry opportunities for our youth. Your support enables us to buy supplies for Theme Night, prayer guides for the Lectio Small Group, and plan food and games for future YM Connect Nights. It also helps us to better explore and lay groundwork for new ministry and small group ideas that the Holy Spirit may be calling us to, such as a hiking group. Your support also make it easier to offer retreats and days of reflection without additional cost to families. Your generosity makes these and many more things possible!

To make a donation online, click here!  Thank you.
